Hot-dip galvanised screws have very good resistance against corrosion. The zinc layer is much thicker than with galvanic coatings


This standard specifies the characteristics of hexagon head bolts of product grade A and B:

Product grade A = For threads M1,6 to M24 and nominal lengths ≤ 10d or 150 mm, whichever is the shorter
Product grade B = For threads over M24 or nominal lengths > 10d or 150 mm, whichever is the shorter.
